“Prove you can follow instructions without dropping the ball.”
You’re new. Maybe fresh out of school, maybe switching careers, maybe you’ve been a freelance VA but never operated inside a system with real standards. That’s fine. Everyone starts here. Every Worca Partner once stood where you stand.
Your job is simple: do exactly what’s asked, on time, with zero errors. That sounds easy. It isn’t. Consistency under pressure is the first skill that separates professionals from amateurs.
What You Do
- Execute clearly defined tasks — data entry, file organization, basic research, transcription, scheduling
- Respond to requests within SLA (under 2 hours during working hours)
- Maintain task logs — everything you do is tracked and visible
- Follow established procedures exactly as documented
- Flag blockers and questions immediately — never sit on an unfinished task in silence
AI Skills Required
- Draft emails and messages using AI (with human review before sending)
- Summarize documents and meeting notes with AI
- Basic data cleanup and formatting with AI assistance
- Use AI to research and compile information from multiple sources

Promotion to L2
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months at L1
- Pass L2 qualification assessment:
- Timed task execution — complete a set of realistic tasks under time pressure with 98%+ accuracy
- AI workflow demonstration — show the panel how you use AI in your daily work. Not theoretical — actual screenshots, actual tools, actual output.
- Written communication test — draft 3 professional emails for different scenarios using AI
- Positive supervisor feedback
- Zero disciplinary incidents
What the Panel Looks For
- Reliability — can we trust this person to do what they say they’ll do?
- AI integration — is AI a habit, not an experiment?
- Communication — are they clear, proactive, and professional?
- Self-awareness — do they know what they don’t know?
Mentorship at This Level
- You receive: An L4+ mentor assigned to you. Weekly 1:1 check-ins (30 min). Your mentor reviews your work, answers questions, and prepares you for L2.
- You give: Nothing yet. Focus on learning. Your time to mentor others comes at L4.
- Shadow sessions: Attend at least 2 client work sessions per month with L3+ talent. Observe. Take notes. Don’t speak unless asked.
What You Don’t Get Yet
- Client-facing access (you work behind the scenes)
- Mentee slots (you can’t mentor others yet)
- Referral income (you haven’t earned it)
- Autonomy on undefined tasks (you follow playbooks, not create them)
These unlock as you level up. Earn them.
